Welcome to the forum you did well with that, probably worth taking the car to a dealership ask their Service Department to give it a once over, they will also be able to advise Service History, Map Update Cost, issues like the Sun-roof etc. In view of what the car actually cost it's practical to have the vehicle checked over especially as you mentioned 'little ones', at least this way you'll have a clearer idea of what's needed to bring the car up to date?

Wow that’s an incredible win...congratulations . And in stunning Elbaite as well .

To be honest I would find a MB specialist (way cheaper than MB) & get all those niggly things fixed. I mean tbh I’d love to be in that position where even if I had to spend £500 getting electrical niggles fixed it’s a bloody nice car for £550!

Maybe you could try tracking down the previous owner? Those wheels are unusual so shouldn’t be hard through the forums & FB pages. Or was it the previous owners raffle?

Ive tried and failed to locate previous owner. There seems to be a bit more than just electrical niggles... ill Pay off the loans for the other 2 cars and then be on the look out for another A45. Looks like it will be a PFL though. The misses loves the drive off it an aweful lot, she dislikes the attention it gets but thoroughly enjoyed driving it to and from work 😉

Yeah you might want to get a history check on that. If it’s been in a major crash then it’ll show on histories. Looks to me (& I’m no expert) that panels have been replaced

Nothing came up, but like i said would rather get rid and clear off loans and then be on the look out for another A45. Still have my C class which i can trade in against another a45 also.

What do you think is an acceptable offer with the known issues?

Off the top of my head a 2016 with low mileage like that should fetch £27k in good nick. Worth checking auto trader though

Yeah i thought £27-£28k but obvs has had a lot of owners now and the issues it has although if sold cheaper gives someone the budget to fix it.

Hmmm yep, only to find out that at some point its been clocked. Last known mileage to MB was just shy of 41,000.

I've bit the bullet and got rid. Unfortunately it seems i wont be able to afford another A45. 🙁
