Post by Hezza81 » Wed Dec 18, 2019 5:49 pm

Right, so lets talk insurance. When i got my a45 last year, my fully comp cane in at 500 a year. Just had my renewal come through and they now want 2200 lmfao. So i goes back on confused and im getting quotes around 860. Wtf is all that about. Nearly 40yr old bloke, 10yrs no claims and it still goes up over 60% from last yr. who you guys using?

I had a similar issue. I was with A Plan on my S5 and paid about 800 a year went to change to my CLA45 in 2018 and they wanted over 3 grand! Changed to Admiral and now on my 2nd year with them and pay 700 a year which is sdp including business travel and mods declared. (39 years old with 10 years no claims).
Admiral have been pretty good and dont charge when declaring mods/making changes where aplan added an admin charge each time.

Just doest make sense how these robbing fookers can justify charging an extra 1500 quid with an extra yrs no claims. Ive tried all the market searchers and the best price i got was 850. Still think that price is a pisstake

Debenhams Car insurance. Mine jumped from 450 to 650 this year, I'm 47, over 10yrs no claims etc. Apparently its down to the government forcing insurance companies cover house flooding policy in April without wriggling out of it. They have to recoup there losses on other insurances like your car etc. I agree robbing buggers.
