Theres not that greater difference in weight between them. Its only around 70kg. I appreciate that seems heavy, but its only the equivalent of you having one average sized passenger in the car with you. That difference is reduced to 55kg if you have pan roof on the A45.
I think both cars feel heavy, because both are.
Neither are meant to be track cars, rather fast road cars, and as such 99% of the time you're unlikely to be pushing so hard round the twistys that you'd ve able to shake one off your tail.
