Re: Pre Xmas Breakfast Meet - Sunday 25th November

Gutted I missed out on this, I had insomnia to the point I was awake for nearly 12 hours and didn't go to sleep till 5 am. I then woke up at 11 and slept past alarms, not 1 but 4.

Re: new car too many doubts

Hi Paul, Welcome to the club! I have a 2016 FL car from new. So for me to get the best comfortable ride and mpg I have: 1) The adaptable suspension setting so it's softer when it's in comfort, have you got this? There will be a button on the centre console that allows you to change between sport and...

It could be the B pillar were the seat belt adjuster is, I had a buzzing noise and thought it was the door trim. Fitted some felt between the B pillar plastic and adjuster plastic to fix it.
Do you have a screenshot pal, please?

Re: Static/Electrical noise neart front passenger

Hi all, I got this weird issue where it's located around the front passenger's door pin/seat belt, there is this what I describe an electrical static sound. It's either due to water or something else. Anyone heard of this or facing this? I would also add, it could be the speaker also. It's a buzzin...

Re: Dash Cam - OBD Connection

I prefer them discreet, its pretty dark in the cabin anyway shouldn't be that noticeable unless you know its there, i can also turn all the LED's off on the camera which is handy. The screen should have a screensaver mode that blacks it out as driving with the screen showing is also illegal. Notice...

Re: Dash Cam - OBD Connection

I have my Nextbase 312GW hard wired to the fuse box. The suction mount was to big so got a stealth sticker mount to mount it to the left of the mirror assembly. The wires then run around the roof lining, down the a-pillar and into the fuse box. I believe there are laws regarding obstructing the fie...

Re: Dash Cam - OBD Connection

My Dash Cam came with a power adaptor for a cigarette lighter. I thought that was the normal, I have never seen one like yours which connects to the OBD port. I put "obd port right angle adapter" into Google and came up with loads of ways of extending the port to somewhere else you could hide it be...

Re: Dash Cam - OBD Connection

I got my nextbase always on the left looking to the right so it isn't in my view when I look straight away. Kind of obscured by the mirror. Mine uses the 12v socket as I only plug in when driving. Cables are mostly hidden. It's within the A piller from the front passenger side to the top of the rear...
