I think i’ll get the BMS one, have used the brand when I had a Mini F56 with Jb4 and their intake and they are really good, I hope their pedal box works great
Have you tried sport+ and flappy paddle mode?

Re: Traction Control Issue or More Serious?

Could be a problem with the wheel speed sensor system. The castellated rings on the driveshafts get dirty (or generally split/rust with time) and can cause the sensor to believe a wheel is locking and hence momentarily cut power.

Re: Winter Alloys & Tyres

No idea. The set I bought were genuine A45 alloys.

Re: Seats - adjustment

Probably has much to do with body shape.
I did 250 miles in one go on the performance seats and needed to stretch out for an hour on the bed afterwards to recover!

12,500 miles or 1 year - whichever occurs first.

Re: Winter Alloys & Tyres

I bought a set of 18" 5 spokes off ebay (used) and had them shod with Dunlop Winter tyres (also used).

The cost was £220 for the rims & £160 for the tyres - used them for 6000 miles last winter and they were very effective.

Re: Seats - adjustment

The AMG "performance" seats are pretty uncomfortable IMHO and I also found the headrest an issue. So I tried the AMG "sports" seats instead and found them to be a LOT better. And they're a straight swap with no coding or wiring needed. You still get electric lumbar support, they also have the ambien...

Re: Pedal Box Recommendations

Before you buy try this... 1. Get the car to merc and have all the software updated - they will do this for free if it's under warranty and will often do it for free if it's in for a service. One of the updates sharpens up the gearbox responses considerably. 2. Drive your car in S+ mode with M gear ...

Re: not an introduction but ...

Too late now but my other half also has a back problem and found the A45 to be too uncomfortable for her - until we changed the seats. It wasn't the ride at fault - it was the seats that were the issue. Swapping the "performance AMG seats" for the "standard AMG seats" was all that was needed. We wer...

Is there a level or grind that acceptable?
No. ANY grind is unacceptable and sign of a failing box.
