Re: A45 FL front rear pads

DS2500 pads are immense. Have you used them m8 the pads were recommended to me by a good source the standard pads are good can’t knock them but got the powers up so wanted to put the best pad in 👍👍 Not in the A45 as yet as i'm still wearing through the ones fitted from the factory but I have used t...

Re: Sound quallity improvement

Suggest you tinker with the audio settings.

I DO have the HK system in mine but in all honesty the standard system sounds pretty decent and the improvements the HK gives are pretty minimal.

Re: Anyone on high mileage?

I would always seek out high mileage over low mileage. Low mileage cars often mean they have stood around for extended periods, &/or done short journeys - lets face it you buy an A45 to drive quickly, but these cars don't properly get warmed through until about 10 miles, but if someone has done 5 mi...

Re: Remap or na?

I'm continually amazed that anyone thinks that 381hp and 0-60 in 4 seconds isn't quick enough.

Re: FL Exhaust doesn't burble on overrun or downshift?

I've done 26,000 miles but TBH I've always been able to do it right from the end of the 1000 miles running in period.

Re: Fuel... consumption...

I regularly see 40mpg+ on a run in mine. Always driven in Sport+ with manual gear mode. Seems to drink more way more fuel in Comfort/Auto modes for me. My record was 48.7mpg on a run up the M3 but that was while the 50mph average speed cameras were still present, so I was forced to drive economically.

Re: How many previous owners does yours have?

Mine is 18 months old and I'm still the first owner. From my experience, high frequency owner changing means the car's had a hard life. Everyones had it a few months, thrashed it to within an inch of it's life and passed it on - no mechanical sympathy & no real care & attention as they never planned...
