Re: Air con

Not sure about that 10-15 year crap, it is advised by manufacturers that you service your a/c every 2 years just the same as your brake fluid, I just don’t believe it [emoji6] It's nonsense. A friend of mine was service manager at MB Salisbury, now works at a BMW garage. All an aircon service is, i...

Re: Newbie

Obviously it's going to depend on what you're claiming for & how diligent the dealer is. Electrical issues are unlikely to be affected by engine tuning, but if you have an engine failure (and there have been some) then the likelihood is they're going to go the extra mile to see what parameters the ...

Re: Tyre recommendation

I've not tried the MP4S yet but I am running Goodyear Eagle F1s and have been mightily impressed by their wet performance and sidewall strength.

Re: Newbie

If you're under warranty than *any* form of tuning (box or map) will potentially invalidate your warranty. The vendors of the tuning boxes & pedal boxes will tell you their kit can be removed and the dealer will never know - it's utter tosh - dealers *CAN* and *DO* find out that a box has been previ...

You don't need a pedal box - you just need the updated software from merc - and it's free.
What update is this? Has it only come out recently?
March 2018 is when I had it applied on a Sept 2017 car.
It took 9 hours to apply.

Transforms the throttle response and gearchange.

Re: Comfort or Sport

My I* mode is set for Sport+, Comfort dampers & Manual Gear control.
First thing I do every day is jump in and turn the dial to I* after starting.
